These days if 1 was to open a biology textbook, the 1st thing he/she would see is the cell theory which states that “cells can only come from pre-existing cells” which is widely accepted and not a single evidence is there against it. In 1864, Louis Pasteur – the founder of the cell theory said that he proved to the world that spontaneous generation of organisms from mud, ponds etc was a myth. Thousands of experiments had been completed soon after that date by materialist scientists to disprove him but they haven’t been able to get anywhere near a living organism even with the technologies of today. This locating coupled with the Massive Bang theory (widely accepted) laid the foundations to the collapse of materialism, which states that “matter had often existed and will exist forever”.
The “Theory of Evolution” very first published by Charles Darwin in a time when people believed that spontaneous generation was happening and knew absolutely nothing about Genetics and the complexity of a single cell let alone an organism. Of course with the discovery of these fields this theory was put to the ground. Atheist scientists were not pleased with this of course, but could not come up with other theories which could give scientific backing to their ideologies, so they decided to revise the evolution theory with the addition of mutations. They published everything they could discover as evidence to make themselves more acceptable within the public. This can be proved simply because anything that gives evidence towards the theory is welcomed with open arms for example “the Piltdown man” which is 1 of the biggest hoaxes of all time was presented in the British Museum as “the proof that man came from apes” for 40 years (yes forty!). By the way none of the evidences against the theory are published or are prevented from reaching a wider audience.
Atheist scientists nowadays have given up on the idea that DNA could be formed by opportunity, they moved on to the “RNA world” notion simply because it has the capacity to self replicate itself, but this is also in vain since RNA is really unstable and it will degrade inside a day even in the very best of conditions. So with science strongly suggesting that Abiogenesis (life arising from non living material) is impossible, the evolution theory – which has materialistic foundations has failed in the first step. Moving on to Mutations – which brings about change in the genome of organisms, have been most of the time observed to be harmful and the ones which seem harmless do not bring about significantly change – if we’re to give an example from humans modifications their hair colour. Even a single mutation can trigger death of an organism let alone several happening at when, so this can in no way give evidence or explain that every thing arose from a single typical ancestor. The “irreducibly complex” organs like the eye, ear etc within most organisms refutes the “gradually getting better” thesis of the theory. The soul, intelligence of humans (why isn’t there a single organism which is anywhere near as intelligent as us?) etc I am not going to even touch upon. As you can see there isn’t significantly left of the theory which can explain how life originated and all the species in the world arose. But why is it still being widely propagated? Because I am not an Atheist I can’t totally explain it but if I was one, I would have to think in it given that there is no alternative. Which is the point I want to get at: It is not Science which causes people to grow to be atheists, it is the atheists who make the Science right now. Atheism has existed even just before the Theory of evolution…
So what causes people to be atheists?
It is philosophy!
Individuals have always been troubled with questions like why do great people suffer. Why can’t we see God? Who created God? Why does a child molester go to Heaven since he believes in Jesus? Where is justice? The list can go on forever – and none of these questions are convincingly answered in Christianity, which is why most atheists are former Christians… But once more as I said in my 1st post of “God of Science” Christianity is not the only religion in the world? Bearing in mind that there thousands of denominations inside Christianity too…
Moving on to myself, I believe that true religion should not contradict modern science as well as give convincing answers to the philosophical questions which pop into mind But what must also be stated is that everyone’s beliefs should be respected. Everyone has the right to think what they want to think, even atheism! What I want is, warn men and women about the wrong propaganda that Science has disproved God, avoid people becoming atheists straight after they discover scientific errors in their religion and hopefully encourage them to look into other religions… Folks really should not give up their belief in God due to the fact of the wrong teachings of 1 religion not all religions are the identical…
Science is an authentic region and an “authentic” religion ought to not contradict it which is why I believe it can be utilized as an outer source when comparing two religions. Science can only give evidence for the true religion and against the wrong ones, because it is God who produced Science!
